Are YOUR products made by you ?

Originally a hand builder and a slip caster I am now working with bespoke thrown shapes that I design. All work is then individually hand decorated.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS PRACTICAL ?

My aim is to produce a decorative object that has a practical use as well as eye catching and good to look at. Therefore my work is food and dishwasher friendly.

How long will my order take ?

Each piece is individually crafted which means in some cases, work may take up to twelve weeks for the product to be made from when the order is placed.

practical for everyday use

Every piece of my work is thoughtfully designed and intricately hand crafted. I make my work to be used not just admired, meaning I design my ceramics to be practical for everyday use.

My ceramics are made from white earthenware, a durable body for tableware ranging from mugs, bowls plates and vases.

I glaze with a transparent glaze to give my work a lustrous finish. This process acts a waterproof coating, allowing food to be served and also washed up.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING

All the work is shipped well packed in sturdy cardboard boxes with ample bubble wrap. Small and medium sized items are shipped using Royal Mail and large or multi item orders using Parcel Force. Royal Mail first and second Class postage is recorded & signed for.

Small items

Princes for small items range from £25 - £30, these include mugs, cream jugs, small bowls, small dishes and small plates.

£3 postage and packing Add £8.45 for next day special delivery

MEDIUM ITEMS

Princes for medium items range from £40 - £70, these inslude Jugs, medium size bowls, vases and teapots. - £10 - £17 Postage and packing according to volume and weight. Please inquire on commision.

LARGE ITEMS

Prices for large items range from £70 - £150, these include large vases and large bowls.

£20 - £35 delivery charges using Parcel Force Express 48hour delivery service.

Wholesale & trade commissions

Please contact me via phone or email. Orders will sent according to volume and weight. Delivery charges range from £25 - £35 using Parcel Force Express 48hour delivery service.

PICK UPS & meet ups

FREE delivery within a 40 mile radius – please enquire. Longer distance by negotiation. All orders can be picked from my workshop for FREE.

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UK

For delivery charges outside the UK please contact me.

MY TERMS

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders made through this website. By placing/completing an order you will be deemed to have accepted these terms.

General Information

All products are subject to availability and we may withdraw products at any time. We reserve the right to change prices from time to time, but the price quoted when you place your order is the price you will be charged.

Please note that no amendments can be made either to the goods ordered or customer details once an order has been placed.

Once an order has been confirmed we are unable to cancel orders. Stock availability will be checked once we receive your order; if for any reason an item is not in stock when your order is placed, will inform you prior to processing your order, or refund your purchase for those items which are not in stock.

Returns

If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your order you may return it to us (unused and it its original packaging, with all relevant documentation) within 28 days of delivery.

Karen Atherley Ceramics will refund the value of goods returned (excluding delivery costs) within 28 days of receipt of the return, without further charge to you. We will not refund the costs of returning the goods.

However, should an item be faulty – it will be replaced at no extra charge.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights which remain unaffected.

Please note that items returned do not become my responsibility until received at my contact address. I recommend that the goods are returned by a recorded delivery service.
